Our first meeting of Newtownabbey Supporting All took place on Wednesday, 24th June 2026.

The chairperson and committee members welcomed everyone to the group's inaugural meeting, introducing themselves and outlining the aims and vision of the group. We were delighted to have eight members in attendance.

Elaine led our first arts and crafts session, guiding everyone in creating beautiful macramé angels. Partway through the workshop, we paused for refreshments, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, chat, and get to know one another.

By the end of the afternoon, each lady had created a lovely angel to take home. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends while also making new ones, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of encouragement.
